Born in the fiery badlands between imagination and Quakers Hill, old Willy D.H. Bancroft was a farmer who spent his days sewing seeds of doubt and yield farming, which is the practice of moving cryptocurrency across decentralised finance platforms to earn high returns. He was tragically killed in a microtonal collision. Honouring his legacy is Sydney's premier post-glam-rock-pop-punk-blues-floral outfit The Bancrofts.

Members Byron Davis, Hayden Davis, Hayden Samuels (no relation) and Luke Vella have been performing live music throughout Sydney since 2017 and have subsequently become entrenched in the inner-west music scene. In 2026, following their sold out launch show at Sydney's Factory Theatre and the release of their sophomore EP, The Bancrofts are embarking on their biggest tour yet across Australia's east coast.
